If I play TF2 it goes through the intro then a black screen and my whole computer freezes it's the same with BF3, when it finishes joining the server it opens the game and it's just a black screen and my whole computer is frozen... I'm desperate...

I have updated the drivers, CCC 12.8
I haven't changed anything I can remember except the case and PSU
They are semi clean, they're about average haven't take the shroud off to clean yet but I'm putting in my waco now so I might as well
Everything is plugged in, the problem kinda developed over time with TF2, I don't think I had ever played BF3 with my dual monitors though so right now I think thats the problem.
The Crossfire connector could be an issue I guess, it was a bitch to put back on after I switched cases
Kinda, I switch to my new Switch 810 so there was really nothing to clean except the rad and GPUs which I briefly cleaned

seems to be a conflict with the video drivers.. you may have to do a fresh reinstall if its really bad
don't know why swapping cases would do this... unless the bridge was damaged

I'll try that first.
This second
Do you mean windows fresh install?
The bridge could be the problem, since the cards are right next to each other it's pretty difficult to get it on.
Although why would it work fine when I disable one of the monitors? And how do I completely remove the drivers?
I'm putting in my custom waco right now so I can't really try these now.

Yea I found that the problem was that when I killed it the first time it never actually died so it was using the files that the installer needed which is why my following attempts failed. I found the process (now called "details" in Windows 8) and tried to kill it but it said access denied even though I ran it as administrator so I had to restart and now it installed fine. Time to go try TF2, after I turn on CF

How do you turn on CF in 12.10? It isn't under performance.
