Default Im going need **** load of tips/advices

With that gtx580, it's making me drooling like hell.

Now i want it, but i only want the hyrdo copper one FTW.

So it's time for me to upgrade water cooling system.

So my budget is going to be 1500-ish(the gtx 580 is 699$ so that means 900$ left)

My current build is on my profile. I don't mind water cool my mobo, ram, cpu and gtx.

My case is big so i can get nice radiators(haf X) So please leave advices and links of products.

I am getting evga's 580 FTW, But I dont have anything else, so basically reservoir, Pump, tube, radiator is needed right now in order to run a water cooling system. Then i guess ill add ram(gotta upgrade them to cosiar one so i can add ram freezer) and cpu and maybe motherboard?

5970 2G is still better........ As I read the review on Tech power up.....(not by much). The 580 beats the 5970 in some and the 5970 beats the 580 in others. Looks like they are pretty close cards with exception obviously of Physx.....

yup id put money on it... and AMD is more innovative and imaginative in their chip designs.
over the years theyve built themselves up to the point where now they are kicking the craps out of NVidia... that says alot in my books. Ive lost all faith in NVidia but thats just me

High end graphics cards are so good now either the GTX580 or 6970 will be a fine choice. The new cards are now AMD. I have had good luck with ATI(AMD). If my 2 cents are worth anything before inflation, get the 6970 when it launches.

As far as watercooling, here is a start:

EK makes the best GPU blocks hands down although there are a few as good. Stick with EK you will not go wrong.

    For GPU;
    Apogee XT
    Heatkiller 3.0
    XSPC Raza
    EK Supreme

All cool within 1-2 deg. Under load. Any will be a good choice.

    For rad, I prefer Thermalchill.

    For pump, 1 choice IMO:

    Liang MCP 655.

This will get you started. GL

I agree with drdeath Apoggee XT and Heatkiller rev3 would be my first choice for Cpu block and Ek for Gpu block.Radiator i prefer XSPC and Feser.Pump i would go with the Swiftech MCP655 and for reservoir its clearly your taste if you want a bay or a cylinder i personally use Ek's res and i am satisfied by the look.Consider that if you also want to wc mobo, rams and going sli with Gtx's then i guess we are talking for 2 loops thats 2 radiators,2 pumps and maybe 2 res (or maybe one dual bay).My opinion is that you dont need to wc mobo and ram go with cpu and gpu's with a 360 rad.

Although I use Thermalchill. Wheels hit a good point on XSPC. The rads are a very good value and perform well. They are priced right.

Btw if you going sli you have to consider a psu upgrade to your budget. And if you aim for x3 you need like 1200w to juice that GTX's.Thats like 280$.Be patient as Deton said and take all into consideration.
