    Default Best keyboard and mouse?

I am still using my old dell keyboard and this very limited Microsoft mouse.

I would like to have a professionally keyboard, not with those gaming marks, or those stupid LCDs on the top....

Noise doesn't matter, It has to be comfortable as I spend a lot of time everyday using computer.

For mouse, I like them to be simple with useful features not 30 buttons etc.

The Mionix Naos 5000 is probably the best review I've seen Jake do on a mouse thus far. So convincing in fact, that mine is being delivered tomorrow.

As far as keyboards go, I personally use the RAZER Arctosa. The backlit keyboard is awesome, and can be turned off if you choose. It has laptop style keys, and the 2 USB ports and audio jacks have proven to be quite useful.

+1 for the Naos 5000. My secondary rig has the Naos 3200. See a trend here? It is the most comfortable mouse I've ever coddled. Beautiful.

As for keyboards, I do prefer a G15 because the display gives me information but if you're not into that then there are a few nice Razor keyboards that are soft stroke keys and a very nice tactile finish.

Keyboard: Das Keyboard Model S Ultimate Silent. No flashy teenager crap; just a really high quality keyboard. Love mine.
Mouse: Screw mice. Use a trackball.

No flashy teenager crap lol I remember you prasing the the Razer lacosa a few months back and how your wife loves it. A lot of people that game at night like backlit keyboards, including myself, it makes the keys easier to see.

My Razer Lacosa did not last that long, problems with the space key splitting in half twice, but I haven't had any problems at all with either of my Saitek Cyborg Keyboards.

Prove it! Find me any post where I praised the Lycosa. You're going senile. lol

I praised the Mamba mouse, but I don't recommend it, because it has issues.

Never have I praised the Lycosa. My wife might, since she loves it.

Send the check anyway though, beer is beer.

Actually, don't. How much is a six-pack these days? $5? That'd be 30 norwegian kroner. One can of beer costs about 42 kroner.

A fifth of Bacardi Black costs me 320 kroner. $53. A little more expensive than what 7-11 in the States charges ($15).

Well, I bought a Logitech G110 on the spur of the moment today. I liked the sexy lighting of different sections, which will be good as I work a lot at night in low light. Partitioning the keyboard by colour combo's is logical to me and the way I work. And did I mention it looks sexy.

The macro keys will be used outside gaming more than with it probably. It felt nice to use, but so do most things (my current one is a Microsoft Wave with half a cup of coffee solidified inside it) and the feel is all important - and varies between individuals ... of course it matters lots, so try it before you buy it.
