But I've used Patriot RAM without problems before. They've been around for a long time.

The Computer that I recently donated to an auction benefiting a battered woman and children's shelter had two 4GB sticks of Patriot G2 DDR3-1600MHz it it. (generously donated by Jim, the Booger-Man)
It works perfectly and the people who were the winners in the auction just love the way it works.

BTW: It sold for $700.00 and all of the money went to the shelter. I kept none of it.

So I don't think we can blame Patriot for this. They're probably making the RAM to AMD's specifications.
