    Cool Asus P6X58-EPro

    Hi guys,

I have the above motherboard and a CPU but no CPU sink. Which sink do you recommend? Nothing fancy just a functional one.

    Thanks

Thanks. I am struggling to find a suitable CPU sink that will fit this motherboard. The normal ones seems too small, it needs a wider one but I am not sure which one. Hopefully someone with this motherboard can advice. thanks

    Hey Georges,
Welcome to PureOC! Will you be overclocking? What CPU do you have? Take a look at the Noctua NH-U12p SE2, it a damn good cooler and fairly cheap.

Hello and thanks. I will not be overclocking. The tag on the CPU says intel@ Xeon and the aforementioned motherboard of course. Will it fit? in the UK it is about £56. Affordable :-)

Actually come think of it. the manual for the motherboard does not mention XEON. It fits perfectly though.

Go with the Phanteks cooler, both the cooler and fans come in different colors to match your system, it's a large cooler, so the install would depend on which case you have ?

Guys, he is not overclocking. Get the Coolermaster Hyper 212+. You can get it between $20-30 and it does a great job for an inexpensive cooler.
