There is no way to tell what next year part's & prices will be like. This is a ever changing hobbie. What is a good price one day is a different two day's from now.All I can say is just get what you can now and go from there.Get part's that are the best for the money.Like EVGA They have there trade up program. So if you get a good EVGA card & want a better one later you can just trade it up.

Maybe wait for Haswell, other than that just get it while it's hot. With a 4k budget you'll be able to pretty much do everything, top CPU, dual top GPUs (maybe triple), custom waco etc

If you can wait until afterwards, do that.

PC parts are always evolving and prices usually go downwards too.
You'll have better parts to choose from and prices will have gone downwards by then.

Look at what has happened to SSD prices in the last year.
    Also,.....
Look at the advances in SSD technolgy in the past year.

Hardware usually changes every 5-6 months, so the best thing to do is wait until your back home before buying anything.
