I need more SATA ports! How do I add 9 of them?

I am planning to build a server with a Rosewill case that holds 15 HDDs. My M/B has six SATA ports, plus 2 RAID SATA ports. How can I add nine SATA ports to the Asus Sabertooth 990FX M/B? I have one PCI slot and one mini PCI slot (PCIe) so I can add on 2 Cards. I also have 2-3 PCI Express slots available, I am using an Nvidia graphics card that is not SLI.

You need to buy a PCI or PCIe expansion card, I have one that that I am using on my server that is housing 10 hard drives...
The one I use is by Syba. I bought it a long time ago (maybe 4 years now) and has 4 Sata ports on it and is PCI, I haven't seen allot of them with 9+ ports so I have no experience with it.

Why do you need so many HD's?? I thought 10 was a allot for personal use as it is...

I need a lot of storage for BD converts. Each file is 20-40TBs

Where can I get a 4-port card? I can only find a two-fer!

Grumpy, he would need someone from US not the UK, shippings to expensive. AZ-J Newegg carrys them, so do a search, if they don't have what your looking for, do a Google search.

I am trying avoid RAID. I want to buy at Newegg, I have a nice credit balance there.

I found one with no RAID, it has 4 ports, so can I use two, where SATA III dwells Newegg.com - Computer Hardware, Hard Drives, Controllers / RAID Cards, SATA III (6.0Gb/s), PCI-Express 2.0 x4?

The first two are RAID the last one at $115.99 is not. However, look at its buyer’s comments.

Last but not least, this is a RAID card with 8 SATA III ports but it is $449.99 and RAID with its own BIOS (something I wish to avoid); it has two SAS to 4X SATA connections and it looks like it comes with cords. Guys, Living this side of the pond means I get to use Google.co.uk which in turn produces UK results....It is not a great leap to find something there then look for same at home wherever home may be....I have to do it when you guys post newegg stuff
