Hardware for new builds

Here's what came in so far for the VisionTek build: Two HD7970s, 32GBs 2133MHz, and two 240GB GO Drive SSDs

In Win build: They sent me two 1200W PSUs, and the gray edition GRone, Verbatim sent two Sata3 240GB SSDs, Intel 3930K, and Crucial sent their Adrenaline SSD and also a 32GB kit

I also received a Gigabyte Z77, waiting on their GTX670s, once those arrive I'll post photos. The Lian Li PC-A75X will be used for the VisionTek build, The CM Cosmos II will be used for the Gigabyte build

I've been thinking about the Cosmos II case lately as a replacement case for my TH10... but the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a side window..

Do you have any word also from Corsair of the plans for the Corsair 900D?? That is the one case I am really interested in right now and have been waiting for more news on it..

Hi Kenny, CM does have a side panel with a window in the works for the Cosmos II, so does MNPCTech, but unlike CM, theirs will be made from Acrylic.

As far as the Corsair 900D, I really can't talk about it, but I will be getting one for review once samples are ready, seeing as I did the original 800D and 650D reviews
I also did the original AX1200 review, so it's going to be great reviewing the AX1200i

Hopefully the ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z and the FX3850 will be here by the end of the week, then I'll have almost everything I need for the VisionTek build.

Nice bling Stan. Really looking forward to the AMD build. I think you are going to like the way the 8350 and 7970 perform. I've only had my 8350 for a day now but I'm really liking it. My system is much more responsive and smooth since I swapped CPUs.

Kenny, I built a system for a friend in the Cosmos II yesterday and all I can say is wow, what a great case. It can hold a 360 rad up top in push/pull and a 240 rad in the bottom with the lower hard drive cages removed. Construction quality is excellent. It has a built in fan controller for up to 9 fans (perhaps more with y cables), and the ability to turn on and off fan LEDs if the fans support that feature (bitfenx spectre pros do). Here's the specs on the system I built:

Samsung 840 250GB SSD for OS/Apps
Crucial M4 256GB SSD for Games

System is hooked up to a 65" Plasma TV. It's a badass system. I really like the Sabertooth motherboard. Going back next week to overclock the CPU and GPU, and put some other finishing touches on the system.
