Default Connecting SBG901 and IPAD 3

My home configuration has a Linksys Router with wireless that I cannot turn on because it interferes with the phone which uses the internet and has a remote phone from the base.
I also use the Motorola SBG901 Modem which has Wireless capability and seems to be active. The IPAD shows Motorola-7D2D7 as a network WI-FI choice. When I try to connect
with the default Motorola password ADMIN it fails.
What is the solution/settings required to make the connection?

    Check this site out:
    Motorola Default Passwords - PortForward.com

It says the default username is "admin" and the default password is "motorola". Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, that does not help. The IPAD doesn't connect with the password of 'MOTOROLA'.
    Thanks anyway.

Have you tried all of the different encryption types?

Default Re: Connecting SBG901 and IPAD 3

I changed the Automatic Security Configuration to WPS. I changed WPA/WPA2 Encryption to TKIP-AES. The IPAD won't connect. The
device has a s**t pot of options. Is it possible the IPAD will ONLY connect through the Linksys router? What is the purpose of the SBG901 modem
    in the setup?
    Thanks

I was able to contact Motorola and discovered the password that is needed is buried in the device's profile. It is secure oriented, but does work. Thanks
