Default help me design my new PC?

well guys, not sure if this is the right spot to post this! so i apologize if it is not

    my current build
    -asrock 990fx
    -Fx8150
    -8 gigs ddr3 corsair 1600
    -hd7850
    -kentek 850watt psu
    -seagate 1tb HD

I sold my PC for a little under $900 so im trying to stay as close to $900 as i can, if i have to spend a little more thats ok! im just not looking for a $1500 gaming machine
iv been a "red" fan all my life, but iv feel the "green" side calling my name for a while now, so im about 99% sure i want this to be an INTEL/Nvidia based machine and in duing so, i dont really know much about there products

of course i want something better then my current rig, i really have no stipulations except a few
-id like a quad core, but its not a must,
-Motherboard must atleast have room for 2-way sli,
-the case must fit a liquid cooling system since i have 90% of a loop in my room, just need a new radiator, but i will be using a hpyer 212 until then
    - oh and the case has to have a side window XD im a sucker for side window cases

other then that, im open to every single suggestion, and possible build combo's

i mostly play LOL, but i like to play battlefield3, crysis, metro, and of course some up and coming games

Why dont you cut back to 4 gb ram and get a ssd for your rig to boot your pc faster and put your games in there for real time experience. I recomend the data fusion ssd the team reviewed a while ago, up to 850 gb read speed, also I would go ahead and get fx-8350, its a amazing proccessor for only 200 bucks

i had the 8150, and honestly i liked it, but i felt like i was the only one! lmao, every review i saw on it said it was a complete trash CPU and that pretty much every single Intel cpu beat it, even the dual core i5 2600? i thnk it was, dont quote me on that is the 8350 a pretty big step up from the 8150? i found a i7 3770 for $289 new, how would it compair to that?

as for the case, iv always liked the Full tower cases, but never willing to spend the $150+ on them so iv always gone with a decent sized mid tower, and loaded the internals XD, but id be ok cutting back on the specs inside, and go for a full tower this time, i mean i can always upgrde the internals later, as for the SSD, honestly im not a huge fan of those, the HD i have now is wicked fast, plenty of space, no big deal at all, so id like to stick with what i have, its $40 brand new ffrom amazon for the HD

Here is what I think you need to change.
Case - NZXT Phantom, amazingly beutiful case 100$
    Ram - Corsair vengence 4 gb (2x2) 1833 mhz 40$
    Proccessor - fx-8350 200$
Datafusion 240 gb - Not sure but i think 250$
    7970 GPU - 400$
    WD HDD 1TB - 90$
    Win 7 - 90$
    Corsair 850 watt psu 140$
    Optical drive - 20$
    Any sort of fans 10 - 40 $

Around 1100 USD depending where and when you buy it

Definitely go with a minimum of 8GB system memory. As for the GPU, the GTX 660 Ti is really nice for the price and so is the HD 7870 XT. Like Tee said, wait for the Haswell chips to launch before you make a move because you may regret it. Best of luck to you!

well i finished my build XD i went with

    -Chrosair formula V
    -FX8350
    -Coarsir vengance 8gb 1600
    -seagate 7200rpm HD
    -NZXT 810 swtich(white one)
    -2x HD7850
    -corsar 850watt PSU

All together cost me $1097 which im ok with =P

now my next question is, does the chrosair formula 5 support that CPU right out of the box?

also it looks like the motherboard has a molex connector on it?

    Here you go:
AMD FX-8320, EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti, NZXT Switch 810 (White) - System Build - PCPartPicker
Surely you can use the HDD and the RAM from your previous build?
But I would also wait for haswell. Though I wouldn't buy Haswell immediately. First chips are bound to have some chipset problems/won't OC as well.

    -seagate 7200rpm HD
    -NZXT 810 swtich(white one)
    -2x HD7850
    -corsar 850watt PSU

All together cost me $1097 which im ok with =P

now my next question is, does the chrosair formula 5 support that CPU right out of the box?

also it looks like the motherboard has a molex connector on it?
2 things i would change is the Seagate hdd. i would suggest a WD Caviar Black hdd and instead of 2 7850's go for the best single video card you can afford.
You don't know me and that's the way i like it!
