I'm using the new Corsair AX1200i with blue sleeved cables, so cable routing should be a breeze, besides I've been doing it for years. Plumbing the system will take a lot longer, EK 480 Rad up top, two EVGA GTX690s with EK blocks and bridge, EX X3 240mm Res with a D5 pump. plus another EK 480 Rad mounted under the window on the left side. If everyone noticed, Bill has flames on the panels that cover the rad grills, so in order for me to still use the covers plus let air get to the 4 fans, I'll have to use 1/2" -5/8" spacers between the covers and the fan grills, which should solve the air flow problem. I'm also undecided if I should move forward adding a 360 Rad up front, I think both 480 Rads should be more than enough.

Two 480s should do the deed with no problem. I've been thinking hard about doing a water-cooled build lately. Hang around here long enough and the bug will get you,............

Yeah the 480s are enough. The rest would be overkill and would not result in any additional cooling. lets see some pic of your work bro!

Default Re: My custom painted 900D is finally finished !

UPS just dropped off the 900D, not I have to pull it from the box, and pray they didn't damage the case or paint during shipping. I was getting a little worried this morning when I hear a UPS plane crashed killing both pilots, now I have to hope the Phanteks Enthoo Primo wasn't on the plane, guess I'll find out tomorrow, As far as the Rads for the 900D, one 480 top, cpu block, GTX690s, X3 240 Res with the D5. then the 2nd 480 Rad in the lower left compartment under the window, I decided to skip the front 360, both 480s should do the job nicely . Should be starting the build log within the next 24-48 hours.

I always worry the same you get a shipment and the fear sets in when the box looks like someone run into it with a fork lift! The last case I got was like that beat up! Thank God Cooler Master had some good packaging there was no damage to the case at all!
