Default Lian Li PC-D600 Double wide Case

The PC-D600 features a two compartment design. The left compartment holds the motherboard, graphics card and power supply, while the right compartment holds the optical drives and hard drives. With the heat generating components separated, a better overall thermal solution is created.

Double wide all aluminum plus the air and water cooling capability make this an awesome case and one I would love to review

Eh, Lian-Li is alright. They seem to do bigger cases better than the small ones for high performance computing. Admittedly I would be REALLY interested in getting something built in one of these, though, with some of the case casters they sell for these and some sexy white lighting on the inside to make that aluminum pop.

Also they need to get that kid some public speaking classes. He stutters and back tracks far too much and it gets kind of annoying x-)

Big small or in between their high end cases are nothing but quality and great for modding as there are no pop rivets and can be disassembled pretty easily

I agree and Im pretty sure the kid is not working for them as it really looks more like an independent review

I think I have seen him in a few more Lian-Li reviews like this one, and none for any other company; that COULD just mean that I'm not "looking" hard enough x-).

I DO love that they are so easily disassembled, especially if you were to anodize the panels your own custom color scheme (I would LOVE to do one of these in green with a black motherboard tray).

Yeah it really isn't humongous. I think a case like this is still a foreign concept to some that are used to standard "single-wide" tower configs.

Default Re: Lian Li PC-D600 Double wide Case

It's not tall at all, like I mentioned a little longer than a 360 Rad, and it's the same exact size as a regular double wide case. The question here is the price ? I'll have to look into getting one for review.
    2nd system

    MSI Z87 Gaming, 4770K Two MSI GTX780s, 16GBs 2133MHz, Corsair 900D, Seasonic X1250W, 360 Rad, Koolance 380i CPU block

    3rd system

    Intel X79 motherboard, 3930K, Boreas, VisionTek 480GB, WD 750GB, 32GBs 1866MHz, Two EVGA GTX770s, OCZ 1250W, 360 Rad, Swiftech CPU Block

It's Lian-Li: chances are, it's exorbitantly priced for what you're getting feature-set wise, but the fact that it's all aluminum, is VERY easily disassembled, and actually has decent cable routing and storage choices makes it kind of compelling in spite of price.
