    If you dont over tighten them, they are fine just only use finger tightness and you will be fine. Its these people who like to over tighten that run risks of cutting their tubing. Not to mention its actually fine to cut tubing a bit lol it provides a very tight seal. You just dont want to cut through it.

    exactly. I have never had a problem with fittings cutting into tubing. I hand tighten all connections. unless it is in some odd spot where you cant get your hand in there. those are very rare.

    let me reiterate by saying snug them hand tight, some people can over tighten them by hand
    and yes cut into the tubing especially if its thin walled Like 5/8 OD X 1/2 ID for instance
