    Wiring Urgent Help Please

Before I start I would like to say sorry if this thread has been posted in the wrong section. Just that I couldn't find a suitable place.

Hello everyone hope you're doing well. Recently I have been building my very first desktop PC. Initially my friend was going to help with the build but he ran into problems. For the past 8 hours I have been building the desktop PC by myself.
I'm almost done but struggling with one important area: Wiring!

I really need help, I don't want to wire anything to the wrong place as it would cause major problems or even a blow-out!

To give you a better understanding I have connected the following onto the case:-

    Storage:- 2 x Western Digital Hard 2TB - Green
    Power Supply:- Corsair AX860i
    Heatsink:- Noctua NH-D14
    Graphic Card:-
Asus DirectCU II OC 3GB GDDR5
    Case:-
    Cooler Master Cosmos II
    Motherboard:- Asus Z87-Pro

I would really appreciate any help. Spent over 4 hours searching around yet still no hope. Please help someone.

    Thank-you very much

For the motherboard, find the large power cable block coming off of the power supply. That 12x2 pin block gets plugged into the matching plug on the motherboard next to the RAM slots. Then the 8 pin (4x2 pin) cable from the power supply (make sure it isnt the pci power) gets plugged into the motherboard up to the right of the rear I/O ports. The PCI plugs from the psu get attached to the graphics card, the fan power cables coming off of the fans get attached to any of the 4 pin fan connectors on the motherboard. Then, the hard drives get the flat, wide power cables from the power supply and those get plugged into the hard drive in the wide, flat plug. Lastly, connect the data to the hard drives by attaching the very similarly shaped, but smaller SATA data cable from the HDD to the motherboard's sata ports. Hope this helps.

Hello thank you very much everyone, I really appreciate you're help. I have managed to almost sort everything out just one problem.
The Graphic card doesn't seem to be working, instead I get one "Red" and one "Green" LED light. Looks like something went wrong.

There's so many wires that came with the PSU so I'm unsure which one to try.

    Please help someone.

    Thanks

Look for a pin that is 3 by 2 or 4 by 2. It will only fit into the PCI power port, nothing else.

My graphic card has both 6pin & 8pib bud. So I should connect both of them onto the PSU?

On the top image, all the way to the right, it has that little black lettering saying pcie. That is the cable! Dont worry, its not the most simple thing to wire up a computer. It takes a lot of practice to get used to it lol

lols I wish I had knowledge like you bud. You should have seen how long it took to setup everything. Over 8 hours!
So I assume the part where it says PCI-E goes into the graphic card along with any other connectors and the other side goes into the PSU bud?

That is correct! Trust me, I was there once lol it still takes me about 8 hours to do a build. After you start with custom builds, you get hooked. I ended up spending up hours and hours working out my cable management, and now that I caught the liquid cooling bug, I worry about that too. It doesn't get easier, just more and more complicated! aha

    Awesome bud! WTF!
I powered up the machine and get an error message:-

"The current BIOS setting do not fully support the boot device.
Click OK to enter the BIOS Setup.

Go to Advance > Boot > CSM Parameters, and adjust the CMS (Compatibility Support Module) settings to enable the boot device!

    What on earth!

I would try going into your BIOS and resetting your bios to full default. Sometimes there are issues. Also, make sure your HDD is plugged into one of the gold ports. To reset your bios, you should enter it like the message says, then if you press escape there should be a choice for reset to defaults
