Default FirePower Technology honors OCZ PSU warranties, keeps products alive

Shortly after announcing FirePower Technology acquired OCZ's power supply assets, the company announced it will honor the warranty of current OCZ PSU owners. FirePower paid $850,000 for the OCZ business unit and plans to revive the brand, operating under the FirePower Technology name, with Silencer MK III, ZX, ZT, ZS, ModXStream, CoreXStream, Fatal1ty and StealthXStream products.

Good... but I hope they know what they're getting themselves into doing that, there's a reason why OCZ's PSU division sold for less than one million as a whole x-)

OCZ was using Seasonic as of the OEM providers for their PSU..
While it was sold for less, if they continue to use a reputable OEM source and doesn't cut corners with marketing the products well I can see them doing ok.

However, for the line of PSU that didn't perform well, such as the modXstream units, they should just cut it all together now.
