My folks only wanted to spend about $300-400 so I removed the "lengthy" post as it become irrelevant. I could get a desktop similar to what I was stating for around $500 but it was too much when adding an OS and monitor The cheapest system I could find was an AIO computer package for $650ish. They have decided to get a laptop from officeworks. If anyone wants to chime in on a cheap laptop from there then let me know![]()

There is always Craigslist as well... IF you know a lil bit about computers and have a wifi phone, you can research right then and there when you see it for a test drive![]()
