Default New build. Gaming rig low budget :/

    Hi all,
Friend of mine has seen my latest build and wants a new rig of his own, trouble is he only has a small budget 400
I seen this vid and have tried to match the parts but i am coming way over budget every time so can you please offer me some ideas.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uW1NdcHSUiw

So here is what i thought of for hardware but need some changes as these parts only leave me 50 to find a case, HDD. CD and OS !!!! impossible

    Gigabyte GA-B75-D3V Intel B75 Socket 1155 Motherboard - Scan.co.uk
    Intel Core i3 3240 Ivy Bridge Dual Core Processor - Retail - BX80637I33240 - Scan.co.uk
Corsair RM Series 650W Full Modular Silent Power Supply 80+ GOLD (PSU) - CP-9020054-UK - Scan.co.uk
    Corsair Memory Vengeance Black 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 XMP Dual Channel Desktop - CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 - Scan.co.uk
    Gigabyte NVIDIA GT 640 HD Series Graphics Card - 2GB - GV-N640OC-2GI - Scan.co.uk

This aint gunna be no future proof rig but something to play today's games on with mid/high settings as Linus achieves in that vid.

I do actually have a copy of W7 prem both 32 and 64bit which i can put on his HDD so lets eliminate that cost. (And yes its legit, my old OS)

    Thanks for any ideas, appreciated
    Lee.

Quick question. Do you have a MicroCenter near you?

    That blows!

Well if I was you on a tight budget I'd look at used gear. Friends, forum, clearance and Craiglist. Are my go to spots.
