    Default EVGA Teases X99 Motherboard

EVGA has just teased their next-gen X99 motherboard at Computex 2014 via Twitter. There really isn't any details at the moment besides the layout of the board. From what we can see, there are a total of 5 x16 PCIe lanes with a single x4 lane. Also, there seems to be 10 SATA ports and right-angle connections for the 24-pin power. As soon as we get more information, we'll let you know!

Kind of feel like making out with this board. At the same time I'm kind of angry AMD doesn't have an enthusiast platform like this.

Nice board. I'll never buy it, but I can already see some nice builds coming from this... assuming EVGA didn't bone this BIOS like they have on every board they ever made leading up to the Z97/Z87 stuff.

Sandy you and I both know that AMD will get there again. They're still killing it in the mobile and casual scene and they're working on new architectures across the board. Frankly though their current marketing is perfect: their CPU's are still excellent for gaming, so why not push Scorpius as a gaming platform anyway until their new high end stuff is ready?
