Default CoolIT can continue making custom AIO CPU liquid coolers for Corsair

In the middle of the Asetek Holdings Inc. Vs. CoolIT Systems legal battle over a patent infringement associated with closed-loop liquid cooling units, Corsair got stuck in the eye of the storm as it had few models made by CoolIT. Due to the issue at hand, the court eventually decided to keep a motion for partial summary judgement involving CoolIT OEM Corsair AIO units. What was not known until now is that the partial motion summary judgement has concluded in Corsair's favour.

That's crazy! Asetek seems determined to try and stop the evolution of the AIO unit by any company other than themselves. They should have covered their ass better.

I imagine it went something like this....

Asetek: How about you start slapping the old sailboat on some Asetek made units?
Corsair: No can do. Cost us a lot of money to make CoolIt solvent in our "partnership".
Asetek: I know....but our coolers do perform a bit better.
Corsair: Yes, I understand that.....but people don't really notice that. It's the LED and sailboat that gets them. Thanks, but no thanks.
Asetek: I understand. Did I mention we are suing CoolIt for patent infringement? Would be a shame if "they" were forced to stop producing coolers....I'm sure upping our distribution would make us far too busy to really pursue that, though.....
Corsair: So, where exactly did you want me to send the line art for the sailboat? And can you do RGB LEDs? RGB LEDs make all the difference......and can we get that NZXT X60 and Tt Water 3.0 Extreme with the sailboat?

Simple mafia economics. You pay the protection, they don't break your legs with a baseball bat.
