    Question ROG Front Base Panel

Hi, has anyone used/installed the ROG Front Base Panel? Was wondering if it would be a good addition for monitoring speed, temp, etc.
    Thanks.

Nice. The only thing I'd like to see changed is to be able to switch the display to say have temp as the main readout instead of rpm

When you say front panel do you mean the AI Suite or is that another option?

Same here, I stumbled across it tonight. I knew about the display that comes with the R4BE, but this is really cool. I wish you could put your choice of what's monitored in the center section of the display, I'd have temp there.

I could be wrong but it Looks like temp display is on the right in several pics and can be set to show MB temps or CPU temps

I have the ROG Panel Installed on my PC, useful item to have.
Shows a couple of thing at the front, as CPU temps and Freq, fans speeds, you can see each fan connector.

    ROG Front Base Panel-img_7142.jpg

make sure you have a compatible motherboard. Check on ASUS site to make sure your motherboard supports it.
I know they they support most Z87 and Z97 boards, but not sure if they support some of the X79. I know that they don't support AMD, and some of the older Z series boards like Z68 and Z77

Only downside if you want to call it one, is it takes up two bays
