    Default ARMA 3 dedicated server

I want to build a server after the first of the year now that I am back to work and run ARMA 3 on it. I have never built or run a server so I have some questions.
what kind of hardware do I need?
motherboard, Do I need a server motherboard? what is the difference between a server MOBO and a desktop MOBO?
How much RAM would you think I need?
    SSD vs HDD
    INTEL vs AMD
    Overclocking?
Linux vs Win ( I have some linux eexperience Nothing formal just from messing around on my own.
Would my residential internet connection handle a server with 64+ people on it while my wife streams netflix, plays farmville, I play ARMA 3 or any multiplayer online game and I stream netflix?

To see who runs or stays

I found this info. Seems fairly recent.

    "
Arma 3 Dedicated Server | System Requirements

The hardware requirements seem to vary and my research into this has come up with the following table. I have not tested this and if you have a server please leave a comment below discussing your server hardware so I can update this. A common theme that I find Arma 3 dedicated servers running into is very high bandwidth usage and port usage. For a big server expect to purchase a server with a GB port and either unmetered bandwidth or a high cap. Currently Arma 3 can only use 2 cores. One for the players and the other for the AI. Make sure you have a high clock speed. If you can look into overclocking the processors to be able to handle more players. For additional information on hardware here is a great thread showing what other people are seeing on their servers. [Tutorial] Server bandwidth & Optimisation - Page 5

CPU RAM Network Bandwith # of Servers (at 64)
    Core2Duo 3.0Ghz 4GB 100/Mbs 2TB 1
    Core2Quad 2.67Ghz 8GB 100/Mbs 5TB 2
    E3-1240 32GB 1GB 20TB 5
    E5-1650 32GB 1GB 30TB 7

Since you wanted a single server for 64 players you would be at the very top. The network bandwidth would appear to be the biggest hurdle. I don't know what kind of speeds you get where you are or how much a top tier network would cost you.

I also checked the link he provided for a wealth of information on running a Arma3 server. Looks like you should be able to set up a server using a decent quad core cpu with 16GB of memory, either 2 HDDs in Raid 0 or a single SSD or 2 SSDs in Raid 0. 4770k was a common cpu used. There was some mention of AMD cpus not being the best for Arma servers. That could just be fanboy talk.
