Alright guys, here it is. My log for the Tie Fighter Build. This actually came as a Christmas gift to me from my wife and boy was I surprised. Here's what the box looks like.
At first glance I figured it wouldn't be too hard, but once I saw how much was involved, I was beginning to think I would have a bit of a challenge on my hands.
First step done, not much of a build yet.
With the torso done, I figured the wings wouldn't be too bad, but it turns out they were more work than I thought. It didn't help that some of the labor was sleeping on the job as well.
Everything came together at the end however, and we have a sweet Tie Fighter ready for action.
Finally, I gave it an honorary spot on my desk. Looks awesome! Hope you guys enjoy this build log almost as much as I enjoyed building it.

Awesome. Very cool.
I assembled the motorized AT-AT walker a good few years ago for my son when he took one look at the kit and yelled..."HELP!". I think it took me something like 6+ hours. Of course it was only ever assembled once, played with for about 5 minutes and I think there are still pieces floating around our house...was very cool when it was together though. Your plan of putting it on a shelf and tantalizing the odd passing child / Star Wars Nerd is MUCH better.
Your Mrs Deserves Kudos although I think she should have gotten you some new Wallpaper for those monitors....lol
