Default I have defective monitor? GB2488HSU IIyama

Hi. My monitor is GB2488HSU IIyama. Sometimes i can see on screen weird little spot, screens:
    Not my screens,but the same.
When i am close to monitor it looks like smudge. Screen:

But. When i go away few meters to rest in bed it looks like this:

But this doesnt look like bad pixel. More like smudge or something. Also this doesnt appear always. Sometimes is visible, sometimes not. Any ideas?
Also why sometimes i can see this and sometimes not? Any explanation?* **
Somebody said that i have defective hardware. So exchange my monitor?
Also actually is my 3rd day without that thing on screen.
    Please share your opinion.

I've seen that before, but a bit more dramatic. It's not a dead pixel because you'd have a bright, one color spot at all times if that was the case. A spot that big would actually be several pixels. That said, it does look like you have some darkened pixels. I think it could happen if something pressed the screen too hard, but I'm not 100% sure on that. It seems to darken some pixels and while it's not always noticeable, you do see it at times. The problem is I don't know if that is covered under manufacturer defect or not.

if you had gently rubbed that area it may have fixed the issue
or it could be a ghost image from something left on the screen for a long length of time

If you don't have a problem anymore, I highly doubt the company will let you RMA. Actual problems don't go away on their own so it's probably nothing to worry about anymore.

Look, you are nitpicking this monitor to death. At some point you have to ask the questions, how much did I spend on this monitor and how much headache am I willing to go through? If this was supposed to be a top quality product, $500+, then you might consider an RMA. That black dot though might amount to one dead pixel and most warranties won't cover that. If this was more on a budget side, $200-$300, you almost have to expect that you will run into minor imperfections.

If these things you are pointing out are really going to bother you, I'd suggest spending more money for something from Asus or Viewsonic. If getting a good deal is more important, then you just have to learn to overlook these things most of the time. Finally, you'll probably have better luck returning the monitor to a store than going through an RMA process, but both depend entirely on the store and the company. A quick search yielded me nothing for buying options here in the states so I know the company is pretty obscure on our end. Hope the general advice helps a bit, but it's really hard to tell you what you should do when we don't have a good reference point to go off of.
