Thread: bios help

    Default bios help

    ok tried to update my bios using nvidia update center for my 680i sli MOBO did everything the EVGA website told me to do and now when is start up my bios the only thing it is showing is the cpu and the graphics card, its not showing my 2 dvd drives or the 2 hard drives or ram. if anyone out there can help me with this that would be great... im sorta new to this stuff so ill take all the help i can get i have already take the battery off the MOBO and waited like 30 seconds put it back in then tried and nothing still.. i unplugged all the hardware from the MOBO and then tried and still nothing.. so please if anyone has any idea let me know ill be waitin for 2 days till i get a reply from EVGA.

    I never flash bios via windows. Have you try to reinstall the drivers?
    I'm not familar with Nvidia board but is there any setting that you have to enable back in the bios?
    Because everytime you flash the bios every custom settings goes back to default.

    i checked throughout the entire bios and couldnt find anything to update... when i first put my system together all i did was plug everything into the motherboard and it just worked... is there a way to install drivers without being to load my os ???

    well i was messin around with all this still and moved my gpu up one slot and bamn it started working.. it worked before from the slot it was in but once the bios was updated it made it move up i dont understand.. but o well i got it all workin and im sendin this from my own system finally ... thanks for ur advice
