Default The most outrageous price difference?!

I was in Best Buy today, and I saw this Kingston RAM at $219.99 and I thought to myself "HOLY ************!!!!!!!!!!!", so I come home and go on Newegg, and the exact same RAM is at $34.99...

Is this the BIGGEST price difference on something as little as 2GB of RAM! Surely Best Buy can't legally sell RAM at that price!

I can imagen some new person to computers, about 15 or so, and he/she wants 2GB of RAM, and saves up the money and gets a paper route or something, just to buy that RAM. Imagen how he/she would feel if they found out they was ripped off by almost $200

you don't always get best price at Best Buy. It is a walk-in retail store (not a warehouse), their computer components always high prices,IMO.
I hardly buy the hardware there, mostly non computer geeks like us go there but I do buy monitor and other stuff there. They do have these on sale often though but still not best price or best buy after all though.

I dont shop at Best Buy my self. I think they are way way over priced, I had a friend who works there and they say they are 100 to 300% mark up on there stuff.. But like Dento said I have bought monitors there. They had good deal on Samsung 25.5 T260 LCD. But as far as over stuff look around you can find cheaper.. I was going to buy Vista ulta 64bit at Best Buy, But they had for $319.99, Newegg has for $277.99 to some people that might not be a big diff but to me 40 bucks is 40 bucks. Thats 1/2 tank of gas)
