Well, if you want the best headphones that you can get (that can be found) then check out the Ultrasone Edition 9. They retail for around $1500 USD. But, the cream of the crop were made by Sennheiser, and there were only 300 of them ever made. The original retail price was $15,000 USD, and can (sometimes) still be found for under $30,000. Do a search for Sennheiser Orpheus, and just look at them and drool as I did. Truely beautiful.

But, if you are looking for a good set of headphones, then let us know your price range, and your sound card and I'll see what I can do for you.

    Are you kidding me?
I don't have a stomach to spend that much of money on the headphone. I thought my $80 Logitech headphone is too much.

hhmmm should should i get the nice headphones or the new car? thats a tough choice. maybe the mrs. is right and i should save to put one of the kids through college instead. yeah that makes more sense. hahahaha... i actually painted a house and the owner was paranoid about his two small speakers, limited edition and yeah they did sound amazing but not for 50k. his wife gave him the choice between the monster truck or the speakers to cheer him up cuz he was having troubles at work.

anyway price range for lowly painter around 150 bucks. i think the logitech will be good (enough) but for that price anyone got any "normal" ideas? hehhehee

I had a listen a couple of weeks back....I'm still looking for replacing my old soundlabs at about this pricepoint and to date these have seemed the cleanest sounding....thinking about it I didn't think so but maybe I did have the equaliser on as I tend to add 3 or so db to the lower frequencies although more distorts.

    http://www.gradolabs.com/frameset_main.htm

So like I said maybe listen first.....and the fact that they are openback might not suit everyone cos they leak sound enough for people close by to hear it

well heres what i finally decided on
    http://reviews.digitaltrends.com/rev...-pc-350-review
basically they rock my world and kick the craps out of my old ones which i thought sounded pretty good. i really like how they fit over my ears and the microphone is super clear sounding and ultra sensitive. im pretty picky about the toys i buy and im very happy with these. so there you go!
