    Default RAM testing bad results

I now have 12GB of RAM. I just did some testing for about 10 mins and when I checked back I had alot of errors. I ran memtest for each 2gb stick of RAM up to 12GB at the same time. Each 2gb test had 4 errors within 0.6-5% of the test. Help?

Update: I tested 4 gigs of my new ram and out of those 2 sticks only one came up with errors. But the one that came up with errors had 9 errors before 10% through the test. So this means I should return this stuff back to newegg?

Is the RAM running at the rated speeds with the stock voltage?

If it is, and it's still producing errors, I'd send it back.

if only 1 stick is bad, then you have to return the whole kit.

if you need it right NOW, then id order a new kit of ram and then RMA the old kit for a refund.

or, you can ask newegg if they offer anything like that when you talk to customer service

the easiest way for you would be to open a LiveChat session and tell them the problems youve had, and ask for a refund or exchange. either way you go, be sure to ask them to pay for return shipping.
