I have recently used 2 ASRock boards. back at Christmas i built 2 new puters for my 2 oldest daughters with a Q6600 and a Q9550 I had sitting here. i used these 2 boards and the kids have never had better running systems.

For a cheap board this one really kicks ass! http://www.canadacomputers.com/index...37&cid=MBD.157

Put an ASRock in my mom's new computer. Thing works like a charm, and allowed me to unlock the 2 extra cores on mom's Phenom II X2 555 with ease. I haven't had any problems so far.

    Default Asrock buy them!!

Using 2 Asrocks at present on 2 of my spare rigs -no problem.
    1x P4i65gv which is a 478 mobo running a 2.8 chip and
    1x 2core 1333-2.66G which is a 775 mobo factory o/ced with a 2140 dual core from 1.6to 2.6.
    Both run like watches!!
Asrock are indeed reputed to be a 2nd tier manufacturer and its said they come under Asus.I really can,t confirm that though.
What I can say is that any questions I,ve thrown at Asrock,s help site in Holland has been answered quickly- no problem so I know from experience that side of the company is good.
Asrock are or have been known as a "quirky mobo manufacturer" ,
Reading the reviews in my weekly pc mag on their p55 boards they in fact got some very good reviews-I think that 2nd tier tag doesn,t apply now they,re up there with the big guys.
    Just my own views though.

It looks like it has good features, and for the price, it looks like I am going to use this instead of the original Asus that I had in mind.
