    Default HTPC or bust?

Well i want to be able to stream media over my Wireless network.
Should i just do the following Creating a 11n Wireless bridge? to my Ps3 and use that? (this is a lot more affordable)
Or would a HTPC be a better option?
Keeping in mind that all i want to do is stream media. I don't need a TV tuner or anything else.
And if so would this be enough or would i need a GPU or anything else?

    .5TB WD green HDD
    Antec NSK2480 B with 380W PSU
    Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
Tv is 52 inch full HD
Should i grab a remote or will a Keyboard and mouse suffice? (i don't mind getting up to change the channel i do it anyway..)

your specs look ok but I would consider a bigger HDD I have 9TB in mine now, I would also recomend at least 4gig of ram. If you you want a keyboard to control it I would recomend the Enermax aurora wireless it's a great little HTPC keyboard and works from great distances.
