    Default Adobe Flash and Browsers

    I am running Windows 7 Professional 64bit. I have IE 9 for 32 and 64bit with latest updates. I have Firefox 12.
I have Shockwave Flash 11.2.202.233, NoScript 2.3.8, MediaPlayer for Firefox Plugin 1.0.0.8. I have been over the last 2 weeks having to install/re-install Flash multiple times. For some reason it does not seem to become available for most sites needing Flash. I even had to do it for YouTube. Although YouTube seems to be working now. The message I get is that the site needs Adobe Flash 10. Of Course Flash is a much later version.
I looked through my files, and found many references to Flash.
    What could be the problem?
Is there a Free Better Replacement for Flash?
What is the relationship between Flash and Shockwave?
The Control Panel shows Adobe Flash 11 64bit. The download claims 32bit also comes with the install.
How do you CLEAN OUT Flash? Either for a replacement or a clean install?
I tried Uninstall, but still found many references even back to 2009.
    Thanks

REVO Uninstaller will help you to uninstall that program. It's free on the web, and it works good. When it's time to do the uninstall, set it to use the most aggressive settings and delete everything that it finds after the Adobe uninstall runs.
Then the system should be clean of flash for a clean install.

I have Revo installed. It does NOT show Adobe Flash. The control panel Uninstaller does. I was very surprised to see this as REVO has done a nice job in the past.
    Thanks for the suggestion.

Have tried going to the Adobe website and checking to see if they have help in the form of forums that you can read and post questions to?
