    Default Extracting Audio

Youtube is a great place to gather music in MP3 or MP4. My issue that I am buying a new car which will allow me plug in a flashdrive of music. I do not know if these files will play or if I need only the audio portion.
Are there any programs, free, that will copy only the audio? I have 100 selections.
    Thanks

Videos wont play (atleast not when you're moving) but an MP3 will almost definitely play. I'm pretty sure a program that takes the audio off a youtube video and saves in would be illegal.

      • My PC was destroyed, so now I only have my laptop. I am assembling some of the parts as I need them (monitor) or find them cheaper (SSD, H100) than I expect to at my November build date.

I get the flv via file2hd and the use flv extract. Or you can pick the mp4 (higher quality). Millions of apps will let you strip audio... avidemux for instance. Or you could use YouTube to mp3 Converter but it is a slow process. Oh and if this post violates forum rules please delete or edit.
