    Default Pc cleaner pro

I was and am having problems with some Windows programs(MSE, UPDATE, .NET FRAMEWORK). Somewhere during the Holidays, to much eggnog, I started to download PC CLEANER PRO. I currently have CCleaner, SuperAntiSpyware running. During the install, which caused a Warning message, I decided to halt the install. I ran UnInstall and then had to manually cleanup references in the Files and Registry. I am now faced with the issue with Control Center Security. The Security message is
"PC Cleaner Pro reports that it is turned off and must be turned on manually using the PC CLEANER PRO
program". That program is, to the best of my knowledge and efforts, GONE from my computer. There is also and entry in Security to download An AntiVirus program Online. With the problems I am having, I am very unsure of doing this through that option.

At this time I have run, sometimes multiple times, to fix all the install problems for Windows 7 Professional 64bit.

where did you get that cleaner from? It sounds like you got some virus buggies moving around in your box. That fact that it isnt there and giving you messages rings alarms Go register and download the 30 trail of Webroot. Have it run a complete scan. If that doesnt work get kaspersky. I hate that program but it is way better then norton or Mcafee. When its done you can uninstall it.

Just make sure your pc is clean first.

I installed the Trial Version of WebRoot and it cleaned up the Security Message. It found NO problems on the computer. For some reason DEFENDER is running again, so I have to AntiVirus apps running. I will shut down DEFENDER and work to remove Net Framework 4.5.1. It does not show in REVO or Control Panel. I will use dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip to clean up the files. It seems to leave 2.5 on the system. This must be the default for Windows 7.
