    Default SopCast

FileHippo recommended Sopcast as a good presenter of OnLine live broadcast. Sopcast ties in Movies. My concern with it is that it wants access to a port on my machine.
Does anyone have any information on the security of this application and related apps?

I use sopcast all the time.... for various "events". Never had a problem with it. It has to access certain ports for streaming and to connect to the listings. been using Sopcast for about 6 years or more.

Not sure I understand your question. Regardless what you are streaming the same process is being used. I don't trust filehippo and sites like it. They are nothing more than a hub for advertising and malware. Make sure you keep antivirus and run malwarebytes often to remove the crap and trackers it puts on your system.

I run CCLEANER, SUPERANTIVIRUS, AVAST. Thanks for the warning about FILEHIPPO. How do you suggest keeping up with new free products that are secure?

I use torrents to obtain entertainment. Torlock is my #1 spot to go for trackers. Live sporting events I use Wiziwig.eu. People suggest free movie sites but I have had no luck in finding one that will not try to invade your system. So i dont use them.

I sort of hooked up with Torrents. I Registered. I downloaded a movie. Now when I try and login I get an error message.
"No user could be found with such login details."

    I tried re-establishing my Registration
and got a message it was already in use. I am Positive the password is correct. I sent a message to TORRENTS but have no response.

Didnt need to register with Torlock to use the torrent tracker I never register. Why would I give any info to a site that is geared towards stealing? Why would I give info to a site that is constantly under observation by the mpaa and governments?

I guess I am at Kickass Torrents. I will delete the Free Viewer and run Security apps. I will then go to Torlock and see what is what there. Thanks
I looked up TorLock and could find nothing but a question on how to cleanup bugs. Where is this site?

I use them too but again I don't register. They have some great stuff. Torlock is one of the few trackers that verify each Torrent and check for viruses

Okay I found TorLock and I did a download. Now the problems finding a TORRENT VIEWER. I tried Free Torrent Viewer which says a file is 25% downloaded and gives a location for a user name that IS NOT on this computer and never has been. Deleted everything related to this.
I then tried SoftonicDownloader_for_open-freely.exe. It says it needs an internet connection, which of course there is one. The properties indicate the download was blocked for security. I am sure this created the error message.
Question: Is "SoftonicDownloader_for_open-freely.exe" Secure and can it be UnBlocked to downloads?

If there is a BETTER Torrent Viewer, Please let me know.
