Question Whatever I do, I cannot get Firefox to open in a normal window!!!

It keeps opening maximized, even when I close it as a normal window..

Even when I make sure it's set to run in a normal window on the shortcut properties...

I have the latest version of Firefox, it's getting very annoying. Internet Explorer or any other windows on my computer aren't having this problem.

I've tried disabling all my Firefox add-ons to no avail.

So when you use restore down button beside the close button at the top right, it shriks down to none full windowed mode. Then you close it and reopen it, it is back to full windowed mode again?

That's a strange one forsure, firefox has an addon called foxmarks or xmarks which saves all your info so install and use it, then completely uninstall FF, reboot reinstall FF and Xmarks will reinstall your addons ect.

Well I went ahead and did a full uninstall/reinstall, and it seems to have fixed the problem! I just wish I knew how it could've started doing that in the first place to prevent it from happening again.

Something got changed, perhaps in your Firefox profile.
This is one of those simple but unknown fixes:
Open Firefox to the desired window size -> Hold Down Shift -> Close Firefox. Should save permanently.

Let me know if that does anything in your new Firefox install.
