    Default DirectX10 Video Cards

I was wondering when the supposedly budget dx10 cards are supposed to come out. I heard that the 8600 should come out soon and that there should be a 150 US version and that the ultra will be 180 US so I was wondering when these are supposed to come out. I was wondering because if it is soon I will return my 7600 and use that money plus some external funds to buy that 8600 GT. ( Ultra is 180 and too much. The 150 for GT is a stretch.)

So what card should I get if I want to get a directx10 card. Is the 8500 GT any good cause it is supposedly like 70-99 US. However, if it is going to suck than I will shell out the extra dollars for the 8600GT. I am selling the 7600.

Yeah like I said I was wondering which one of the main stream cards to buy also how much do you think I can get for an XFX 7600Gt? I could sell it to a friend for 100 but if I could get more for it I would like to.

I got the rebate so if I sell it for 100 then I come out ahead. Also my questions of which dx10 card to buy when it they do come out still stand

What is the 8900 I was on another forum and someone mentioned it. What is it and is it supposed to be better then the 8800 or is it supposed to be a midrange card?

it's not out yet, it is going to replace the 8800 GTX as nvidia's highest performance part, it probably won't be much more than a slightly faster clocked 8800 GTX.

Oh so it is going to be like the super card then. Also now that I have sold my 7600 what card/chipset should I be looking at? I know it seems stupid but should I go and upgrade to a x1950 pro of look at like a 8600GT? I thought of a x1950 pro because wont the price of dx9 cards go down after the release of the mid range dx10 cards? Also I heard someone say that the x1950pro will have higher benchmarks then a 8600. Is this true or does nobody know and it is all speculation.
