    Default Three 7600GT XXX Cards

Is there anyone who uses 3 video cards in the EVGA 680i, 2 in SLI and the 3rd as a physics card in the blue slot? The performance is great and so is the game play and DVD playback, can't hardly wait to try 3 8800's in the same configuration. Going to get 3 8800's and 1000w PSU ASAP.

Ciro is right that would be an awsome set up. I would die for something like that. I'll take one with open arms as well. Also how much would that cost you? You would need some deeeeeeeep pockets.

that would cost i think around 2000$ big money for graphics. James the only game i can think of that uses physics is GRAW and GRAW2:$ waste of money if you ask me 800$ for physics.

Hey Deton, I can't get the 8800's and PSU for a while gotta family to take care of first. My ASAP may be a few months longer than I first thought, as far as gaming with 3 7600GT cards, the smoothness of the the game play it self with F.E.A.R, F.E.A.R online, Quake4, and Doom3 all the games are more vivid and sharp. Colors are blended with the shaders better, it almost looks real. It cost me $600 US for 3 XFX 7600GT's and a 700w Thermal Take Tough Power PSU. I can see the change when the 3rd card is not in the blue PCI-E slot (EVGA) when running in SLI. I just got this 3 card system up and running about 10 days ago still tweaking, I'll post some fps as soon as I have it configured properly.

@ Adamsag7. What is the setting for the 3rd PCI-E? 8x or 16x when you have SLI setup? Don't you need bigger monitor to take full advantage of 3 cards?

I read it some where about quad SLI setup that you need at least 30" monitor?

Wait for few months then the Low & Mid range cards are coming out.

if he has the money to shell out i dont see why he shouldnt. even if hes running all 3 cards at 8x hes still getting full potential out of the 8800's but i think 680i is full x16

calculate the physics of things. the advantage is, in games that use them, that smoke, fire, hair ect. have more detail and they move in a more lifelike way. not worth 600$ imo

All three PCI-E on the EVGA 680i are x16, and the monitor that I use is 30" Dell.

Well the 3 card setup is not what I thought it would be it is not working as I had wanted, therefore when Ageia comes out with a PCI-E version of physics cards, I WILL be buying it. I have heard that it should be out sometime towards the end of this year, until then it will be SLI but I did get 2 WD Raptors 150GB and I'm running them in raid-0 that did speed things up a lot.
