    Unhappy Questions about "compatiable" graphic cards!

    So, I have a x64 bit window 7 computer

    It was originally vista I think, I bought it from a friend who upgrade it to window 7.

    Anyway right now I want to upgrade the graphic card on this computer. I went to look at the computer's spec to see what graphic card it's running on currently.

    Here's what I found about the computer:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    AMD Phenom 9550 Quad-Core Processor 2.2GHz
    6144MB RAM
    GeForce150SE nForce 430
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    From what I've research online, people are saying that the motherboard itself is a graphic card. I don't need a super graphic card due to my budget ($0-$50). I've looked at some that fits into my budget but don't know if it's compatible.

    1. Nvidia GeForce 8600GT
    2. BFG GeForce 8400 512MB PCI E Graphics Card

    3. ATI Radeon HD 3450 512MB GDDR2 PCI-Express 2.0 x16
    *(But not sure if my computer has PCI-Express2.0)*
    4.
    Nvidia GeForce 210*(same here, PCI-Express 2.0)

    If these are NOT compatible are there ones that you would recommend for me?

    Thanks a lot :P

    Welcome to PureOC!!!!!!The 8600GT will be good for your rig. Look at the 9800GT which is essentailly the same card as the 8600. Maybe even look at the GTX260. They are all compatable. Are you running a prebuilt. if so, you may have to upgrade on your PSU. Pre builds usually have minimal PSU's and will not handle a graphics card like you want.
