From a not even as technically minded person i feel that this is dissappoiting for the amount of time they have had to make the cards....maybe though when they finally work they will be so good you may cry a little.

speaking of which my 8600 gts gets a very good review from pcformat so jameson your well ahead of the game and well done (Y)

took them about half a year extra to come out with a 8800GTS, nice
dont get it why did they jump to a 2900 title for the firs card, i'd have started with a 2800, and maybe later gave out a higher clocked lil polished stuff with the 2900 name (or they didnt attend the marketing class, or maybe they did but this was the best the could've come up with which is double disapointment for me). well, too bad, was an ati fan for a long time

I have been checking out reviews and they haven't been great. Competing with an 8800GTS which can be about half the price. I will stick with saving up for an 8600GTS

does anyone know where, or if, you can buy a 8pin power conector or if you can get a 6 to 8 pin adapter?
