    Default What Kind of differance?

My current card is Radeon x1600 pro 512mb core 500mhz ram ddr2 @ 400mhz agp.

    I just ordered a MSI rx X1950 512mb core core 575mhz ram ddr3 @1400mhz PCIe.

<< My mother board has rumors I've seen that it's PCIe slot only operates at 4x

So my question is... Will I even have much of a differance in performance for the time it is in this motherboard before upgrading the board?
Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades!

ya you will have a huge preformance increase that board probly doesnt need anything more than a 8x interface (wich im sure your pcie slot will provide). the real diferance from the 1600 to the 1950 is the number of shaders and the amount of bandwith ofcourse.
