    You do realize that this news was released on Feb 2nd and today's the 25th lol We have also argued about the $999 price tag on the GTX690, if that is the correct price, not many people will be buying them no mater how fast they are.
    The GTX680 while still rather expensive at $649 would be the best choice, at least for me, seeing as I always run a dual card set up.

    The price is to high, Nvidia does not want to loose customers, which is why I find the $999 price tag very hard to believe.

    I have never understood why people buy cards at release?

    Unless your life does not depend on it, it is always better wait until the market settles?
    All of you people already have GPU setups smoking the roof away, can´t you wait a couple of additional months until Kepler will at least get a little cheaper?

    2x680, does that really meet a rational performance/value scale, on the current market?
    I understand why people with a 560 or even 570 are looking into Kepler at release, but there are guys with 2 or 3-Way SLI 580, why the hell would you wanna buy now?

    Has it really come down to, "just having the damn **** as soon as possible"?
