Default Should I trade up? 570 to 680?

I have an EVGA GTX 570 HD. I still have a few days left on my trade up program. Should I dump another $150 to go from a 570 HD to a 680? The 570 has a lifetime warranty and the 680 has a 3 year warranty.

    Thank you,
    --Shoki

I would, as long as you don't try a massive overclock or something

There is a huge performance gain with the 680 card.
If I could trade my pair of 570's for a couple of 680's for $150.00 each, I'd jump at the chance.

use your step up program, if you have the extra $150 it will be well worth it.

If you weren't under trade up time restraints and you are, Would wait for the 4 gig 680 card.

But only if you were planning on Multi monitors and high Res's in the future.
And then would even think about the 7970 3 gig 364 bit card.
    Something else to think about.

In your spot now, Would go for the 680 2 gig.

Let us know what you decided to do, EVGA has a new warranty program, for $25 you can add on another 5 years giving you a total of 8

Cool well I only had 3 days left to trade up. But now I am in the queue (number 709) so I can keep the card until they have a 680 to send me. They say it may take several weeks so it adds onto my 90 trade up. That's pretty cool. Good thing I listened to you guys and got the EVGA card.

Thanks and I'll let you know how the trade up goes.
    --Shoki

    Quick edit:
This is a cool program but how does this make business sense for EVGA? If I didn't take the trade up I probably wouldn't have purchased another card for at least 2 years maybe more.
    Thanks again!

Its beginning to look like Nvidia didn't have a whole lot of 680 stock on hand and decided to
dump what they had on the market ASAP to stop the bleeding.

Eggs been out for quite a few days.
    Unlike the 7970 stock.

They'll get it togather and ~then~ you'll see prices start to fall across the board.
AMD is still riding that cash pony just because of NVIDIA's supply problems.

    It will not last,......
