Those closk speeds are a walk in the park wih my dual 7970's. I am pushing over 1200.

Keep pushing, Ways to go yet and your under water.
Been seeing alot of others with certain cards topping 1300 pretty regulary.
Can't wait to get mine blocked.

I've got a brand new 7970 black edition ref design coming back from rma. Xfx gave me a new card because of the capacitor noise on my old one. Think I'll buy another to match it. Hope the new card will clock over 1200. 1175 was the most I could get out of my old one. Driver update might help too, right?

The new drivers are getting better and helping performance.
To be expected but AMD always behind the curve with new cards and drivers.
Also the Chip Lotto comes into play with all these cards.
I have had bad cards and good ones over the years but Liking mine as to OC.
Heat the only thing holding mine back from 1300,Maybe Plus Core.
