Unless you plan on running multi monitor, 660ti is the best bang for your buck especially since you will run two of them.

Well, acording reviews, 660ti in Sli not coming close to 670... And price diference-for single card around 50 US only. (I am talking about 670 in Sli.) If I start compare price of 2 660ti and 1 of 670.. Winner is clear. I am will be running on single 24 inch monitor. In that case.. 670 is overkill. Specially if talk about Sli.

If you plans are to run a single monitor I would maybe consider a GTX670, its only about $50-$60 more and would give you more beneficial performance out of one card.
The GTX660ti is a great card and I have been considering them. Technically if you look at the GTX670 and 660ti they are pretty much the same cards with the 660ti having the lower bus. memory speed.

I just looked on Newegg and the average price for one 660Ti is about $300, whereas the 670 is about $400. I realize Doomas that you don't shop there but Newegg prices are a good gauge for the market overall. My comments below are based on those prices.

Jim and Kenny are absolutely correct that the 670 is a better performing card than the 660Ti. However, your question was what is the best performing card for the money, especially considering that you will add a second card in a month or so. I still say the 660Ti fits that bill. Two 670's will outperform two 660Ti's by quite a bit but they also cost about $200 more ($100 more for each card). Not sure the additional cost is worth the extra performance. For a single monitor setup, unless you are going to be doing a bunch of benchmarks, you won't notice the difference with the naked eye. So you can do two way SLI with the 660Ti for about $600 and have great performing cards, or you can do two way SLI with the 670 for about $800 and have even better performing cards but you will only notice the difference in performance on benchmarks. I say you save the $200 and invest it in something else like waterblocks for the 660Ti's. Then you can overclock the **** out of them and they will really perform awsome. JMO. Hope it helps.

Go with the Gigabyte GTX670 hands down, read our review on this card, and you will see why it's the best choice for $399, if you can afford two of them, go for it! This card keeps up with most of the GTX680s.

I would go for the 670 as well, but the Gigabyte one instead

I went with 670s myself. I was going to buy one, then another, but I got a good deal on a reference MSI card, so I picked up two. 660Ti is strong as an individual card, but 670 in SLI give you a lot more gain for only 100 buck more (at my time of purchase) while the 680s offered not much in the way of improvement for 150 more (again, my time of purchase).
