    Default I don't believe I'm saying this

Well after looking around for a couple of new GPUs I think I'm going to purchase two Sapphire 6GB HD7970 Vapor X cards instead of two 6GB GTX Titans, The 6Gb 7970s will cost me a $1000 less and they come with a nice looking back plate, here's a couple of photos. If you would like to voice your opinions before I make the purchase, please do. Doing this would also would leave me an extra $1000 to buy a 3970X.

Their selling for $579 each, do you think I should move forward with the purchase or go with the Titans ? I was going to buy the Powercolor 7990s for $899 but they have been out of stock for a very long time, so somethings telling me to jump on the 6GB 7970s.

If you like to benchmark then go with nvidea if not the go with AMD, I doubt you would notice any in game difference between the two.

Sorry if money is no objection, I'm going for the Titan option as 2 titans in SLI will murder anything, the 3970x will not give u much incremental gain over the 3960x u currently have.

Titans are overpriced and hard to get. The wait on them alone will not justify it.

As much as I like the titan's. like others have said, you can get both those 7970 for the price of just a little over the titan in a single card.

IMO, if benchmark record breaking is not your goal, the 7970 is better bank for your buck.

But like Bully said, if money wasn't a objective, then yea, I would get the Titan as well.
But I like to watch my pocket, so... for me, I would get the 7970. plus, those are the 6GB cards, if those had water blocks available, I would look into one myself.

If their still there this morning I'll get them. Bully, the Titans fall behind the 690s, so I just can see spending a $1000 for each card, I'd rather use the extra grand and buy the 3970X or wait and seev what the high end Haswell chips going to look like.

Nice cards Stan and I agree with the other guys. Titans are too high compared to SLI with a couple 7970's or 600 series.

Agreed, I'm runing a couple of scans before placing my order, I'm going to try to get them here by Tuesday, as long as they have at least two of them in stock.
