Question Dual nvidia SLI video card question?

Hey guys im new to the board and got my first question. I just got some new computer stuff, but just realised that i ordered an 8600 GT insted of an 8600 GT OC like the one I already have. My question is can I make the 8600 GT into an OC by manually overclocking it? And if I can't should I just go ahead and run them both, or wait to get a new 8600 GT OC? Thanks guys,

of coarse, just make sure the 8600 GT has the same clocks as the OC one because SLi runs both cards at the slowest cards speed
    What?

as above, but make sure that the card has enough cooling, as some pre-overclocked cards have had the cooling upgraded to allow for the overclock.

Sorry, but I'm a big time newbie when it comes to over clocking and what not. Can you point my in the direction of a post or website to help me overclock my cards? Thanks a lot,
