    I would wait until the AMD partners release theirs before I jump. The prices of the 780s are not going to change. The reported issues with the 290x will be addressed. So by then you will have a better idea of the landscape. You already know the 290x beats the 780. That is why the price dropped so far down. You know the 780ti is expensive as hell so it really isnt in the same realm as the 290x. So in the middle of both you find the 290x sitting in a great position.

    To be fair though, stock-for-stock the 290X goes toe to toe with Titan in a great many games and a few synthetic benchmarks. It IS more consistent against 780, but I think 780Ti better blow me the hell away for whatever coin they are going to charge for it. 780 and Titan were already dreadfully close as it is...
