    Default Arctic Accelero

I have a GTX780 ACX and i want to install an Arctic Accelero on it. So it say you have to use thermal adhesive on the RAM and VR's. If I install this on my GPU it is permanent right? I wont be able to WC later on?

So I will be able to remove the heat sinks that get glued to the VR's and ram with thermal adhesive? I can afford the $75.00 for the cooler, but I can not afford the $300.00 for WC right now. It is tough managing two addictions.

i would wait until you can afford the waterblock. The ACX's cooler is pretty decent, so i don't think you will get much better performance from the other one you wish to install.

Seems like a decent cooler but I really cant say how easy or difficult it will be to remove all those heat sinks you have to glue in place
Looks like to much trouble to me.

Arctic's Accelero Xtreme has the same circuit board clearance to the left and right of the GPU. In comparison,
Deepcool's Dracula is higher on the right side, and less so on the left. In both cases, though, the vendors require that you glue heat sinks to the voltage regulation circuitry and RAM modules using adhesive, making it difficult to switch them out. As a result, we used Deepcool's low-profile sinks on the memory to the left of the GPU in the name of compatibility.

I would not be gluing anything to my expensive video card thats hard to remove!!!

Thanks guys you told what I would not admit to myself :-(. I will wait for WC.
It is mainly the VR's I am worried about. Right now I am sitting at 1.269v and my core is 1228 and my ram is 3132. Not bad but I am trying for 1300.
Wbile playing bf4 and running Valley I float around 73c but I know the VR's are most likely maxed out.....

Is this for a 780 ? If it is, I have a brand new one sitting here, had a customer change his mind at the last minute, and went with a full cover block instead, so if your interested send me a PM.
