    Default curiosity

how much would these stats have a right off the bat impact on performance?
    right column vs left column
wondering if this is worth it enough to go all out
or if they r close enough in actual real world performance, just stick with the lesser?

well, obviously the last 3 dont make a diff lol... the Core clock, not too much.. the Stream processors would help more.. The question is.. the Price difference.
$10 more? do it.. $20? do it... $30 or more, i wouldnt.. I personally would just overclock the lower card a little.

I would have to agree. That core clock would only matter if it came with the card with more SP's.

And since we are obviously talking about different GPUs, it's very likely that you could throw all of those particular stats out the window. The fact that different GPUs have distinctly different clock-for-clock performance kind of (or "absolutely", as the case may be) makes this an impossible conversation to have without more info. It could well be that the GPU on the left has better performance.

Sounds like you're comparing a r9 290 vs 290x. Honestly, I doubt you'd see more than 5% performance increase and no real world performance difference. The way the pricing has been on the 290, I would save the cash and stick with them.

Yeah, been shopping those bad boys for several months now. Got 2 Sapphire Vapor-x for $260 each and they are awesome. Read a lot of reviews too so performance difference wasn't ever too big between the two.
