Nah, it won't really. The Titans are also (primarily?) used by the Compute crowd, and the RAM will make a big difference to them. Also, the cost isn't so relevant there. Might kill the market for Titan X's among gamers, but in all honesty the percentage of gamers that can afford Titans (let alone dual or triple Titans) has to be almost nonexistent in the scope of total Gaming GPU sales. Really, from a Gaming perspective, it seems to me the Marketing of the Titan X to enthusiasts (as opposed to the compute croud) was really just a ploy to hold the high ground as the Red Team improved it's product, while sucking some $$$ of the bleeding edge enthusiasts, waiting for just the right moment to drop the 980ti and steal whatever Thunder the Red team managed to build up.
But...perhaps I'm wrong and 60% of PureOC has Triplets of Titan X's in their PC's....<grin>.

I've just been catching up on these articles. For the $650 price tag, the performance is pretty solid. Like Sandy said, get 2 of these which will probably blow the Titan X out of the water.
Titan X is still a good card, for those that need the extra Vram, that's where those cards stand out.
man! This is really tempting me to get the 980ti's now.
