    Welcome.

Are you aware that SLI will only function on Nvidia's nForce chipsets. Your P965 (which is Intel) will only run CrossFire.

Of course, there are various hacked drivers that may allow you to run such a setup, though I don't have any knowledge of this.

most annoying thing about your situation is that technically, there is no reason for it not to work -- accept nvidia will not allow intel to enable sli support. That's why the sli/intel chipset hacked drivers work, but they are always behind the current ones and support has probably dropped off (just an assumption as the idea never took off and nvidia got the lawyers out).

Like James said, it should works if it's Nvidia chipset board you shouldn't have any problem to run SLI mode.

Hacked driver?....nahhhh I wouldn't bother with it because you might have a hard time to find a new support driver for that old cards ( I didn't mean to insulting here)

Actually its easier to find drivers for those older versions, for 7 series
I found something and they say it works
What nvidia does is modify their drivers so SLI could only happen with nforce boards whereas hacked drivers they make the cards compatible with any board

    Ill try it out
    Thnx again for the support

What country are you situated in?

If I was stuck in your situation, I'd sell both the graphics cards and either hunt down a cheap 9600 GT, or wait for the 9600 GS0 (a re-branded 8800 GS) which should set you back roughly $120 US.

Another alternative, is you live in the US, is to get a HD 3850 for $109 (after rebate), and if you ever want to, you could buy another one later on down the track - very future proof. I'd still prefer a 9600 though.

well mate guess ul have to buy a new board with nforce lol. your board does hav duel pci-e (1@16x),(1@4x) which uses ati crossfire so ur betta off selling ur 2x nvidia cards and getting 2x ati cards to run crossfire. Itld cost alot more to buy an nForce board with sli and a new cpu
